Why do you suggest using a very warm washcloth before doing a mask?

Always wash face in upward, circular motions. Always do to your neck whatever you do to your face. After washing face, remove residue with a wet cloth and splash several times. Use toner after rinsing to remove any residue and to balance and condition skin. Exfoliate once or twice a week; more if you are oily skinned. We like to do our mask after exfoliating, but you don't have to.

Skin Revival suggest using a very warm wash cloth and laying it on your face for five minutes, to open pores. You can also use a face steamer or put your face over a bowl of boiling water, making a towel over your head with a tent. Sometimes simply getting in a hot shower with the door closed will be enough to open the pores. All masks must be dry before removing.

To reactivate a mask, spray with water and leave on until dry. If you feel the need to, you can sleep in any of the masks once they are dry. When removing, cleanse face with your daily cleanser, rinse several times again, apply your moisturizer, and your eye treatment. Always pat your eye treatment on with your pinky or ring finger, so as not to pull delicate tissue. If you follow our suggestions, we know you will see improvements within 28 days!.

Skin tip of the day

Smoking makes your skin look older and contributes to wrinkles. Smoking narrows the tiny blood vessels in the outermost layers of skin, which decreases blood flow. This depletes the skin of oxygen and nutrients, such as vitamin A, that are important to skin health. Smoking also damages collagen and elastin fibers that give your skin its strength and elasticity
